Ahhhhh…. the soothing sound and music to my ears when I hear vegan ice cream. I was so stoked when I received my package from DF MAVENS. I had been eyeing their stuff for sooo long because it looked insanely tasty. I finally got to try four of their flavors and let me tell you guys that ‘delicious’ isn’t even the word! It was seriously like heaven. If you haven’t tried any of their flavors, I highly recommend Madagascar Vanilla, Mint Almond Cookie, Chocolate Almond Fudge, and Mocha Almond Chip!!! I promise you won’t regret it, at all. I had meant to create this badass combo for so long. But…

As the English proverb says, “Where there is a will there is a way!”  It is amazing to know and feel that by the most part our deepest inspirations come from the darkest moments in our lives, yet those very moments are the markers and the game changers to who we become and how we grow. In a world full of so much discrepancy, untruthfulness, skepticism, and artificial nutrition and products we need to find that one thing we become passionate about and that one thing that allows us to get out of a hump and be a better person. For me, it so happened to be joining IIN and becoming…

I’ve got to say pancakes are seriously up there on my favorites list.  Wouldn’t you say so too? Seriously though, they have to be good ones. Obviously, I don’t have them every day, but when I’m feeling fancy, I get fancy aka make pancakes per se. Soooo it happens I was feeling a little cr.E.A.T.ive, and I came up with these super delicious and nutritious pancakes!! Pancakes a la Fancy?? 2 cups oat flour 1 tsp cinnamon 1-2 cup(s) almond milk (or any other nut milk) 1/2 cup rolled oats 1 tsp baking powder optional: 1 scoop protein powder, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and berries or chocolate chips To make…

They were gone before I was able to take a picture…. I was craving something sweet, and I was feeling a little fancy and creative so what happened? I decided to develop a delicious and easy vegan pumpkin muffin recipe <3 After all we are still in fall, and I’ll always take a thing, or two made from pumpkin because why not?! I made them pumpkin, but in essence, they would be just as great without the pumpkin puree. Ingredients: 1 cup oat flour 3 cups rolled oats 2 tablespoons nutmeg 1 1/2 tablespoons baking soda 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup maple syrup (if you want them to be sweeter you…

Why I am vegan… HAPPY WORLD VEGAN DAY!!  NO MEAT, NO DAIRY, ETC. NO PROBLEM <3 Lately, I’ve been getting asked quite often different sorts of questions related to myself and choosing veganism.  “Why are you vegan?” “What made you go vegan?” “Why veganism?” “Are you vegan because it’s becoming popular?” “What’s vegan?” “What’s it like being vegan?” “What do you eat?” “Where do you get protein?” “Do you even get enough protein?” etc. Here’s my response to you all and there couldn’t have been a better day to deliver these thoughts to you, my dear friends.      I first went vegetarian three years ago!  What made me go…

2017 is almost over, and I still had yet to try cupping! Since forever ago I’ve been wanting to try cupping therapy. I’ve had my eye on it and just never made the time to go. A few days ago my best friend went, and of course, I had to text her right away and get all the deets! I finally went, and I am obsessed!! What is cupping therapy? It is an incredible Traditional Chinese Medicine technique. Even though the way it’s done has changed over the years and the way different people do it, it’s still the same mechanism, the same benefits. Cupping requires the placement of glass,…

Here’s the first time I’ve ever thought of creating and making a raw dessert bar. I’ll be honest everything is trial and error, and even though these came out pretty delicious there’s room for improvement, and I know just what will make them tastier! Ingredients 1 cup Raw Almond Butter 1/4 cup Coconut Oil (Extra Virgin Un-Refined Cool Pressed – basically pure/raw) [I reduced amount of coconut oil 😉 ] 1/2 cup Unsweetened Dried Coconut (shredded or flakes — don’t use desiccated coconut!!!) 4 tbsp 100% Pure Maple Syrup or Agave Nectar (Here’s where I went wrong, I didn’t add enough, so they tasted too much like coconut oil )…

Berries are up there on my favorite things to eat (like all fruit), but there are so many awesome reasons why! Not only are these natures candy, but they are also PACKED with tons of nutrients and health benefits. These bad boys help you feel full, prevent disease/cell damage like diabetes, blood pressure, heart disease, memory loss, cancers and can help control weight if that’s of importance to you! And that’s just a few of their impressive health benefits. The antioxidants and phytonutrients (which aren’t essential to keep you alive they just help prevent/fight diseases) in berries help you strengthen and boost your immune system on an incredible level so…
